Kniphofia drepanophylla

Kniphofia drepanophylla is a member of the Asphodelaceae family, a group of flowering plants that includes many species adapted to arid or semi-arid environments. This species is found in the Cape Provinces and KwaZulu-Natal regions of South Africa. The genus Kniphofia, to which it belongs, is known for its tall, colorful inflorescences and is commonly associated with garden cultivation. The species was formally described and published in 1892 by the botanist Baker, contributing to the taxonomic understanding of the genus in southern Africa.
