Description

Kickxia cirrhosa (L.) Fritsch is a member of the Plantaginaceae family and is found in a range that includes the Azores, specifically on islands such as Faial, Pico, São Jorge, and Terceira, as well as mainland Portugal, Spain, France, Italy, and parts of North Africa like Algeria and Morocco. It also occurs in the Balearic Islands, Corsica, Sardinia, Sicily, and Palestine. The species was formally described in 1897. It is part of the genus Kickxia, which is characterized by small, herbaceous plants typically found in temperate regions.
