Tamarix hispida, known as Kashgar tamarisk, is a species in the Tamaricaceae family. It is native to Central Asia and has bluish-green foliage with autumn flowering.

Description

Tamarix hispida is a tamarisk species found in regions including Afghanistan, China (North-Central, Inner Mongolia, Qinghai, Xinjiang), Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan. It belongs to the Tamaricaceae family and is characterized by its bluish-green leaves and flowering during the autumn season. The species was first described in 1816 by Willd.
