Olax dissitiflora is a species in the genus Olax, belonging to the family Olacaceae. It is commonly known as kamasa and is distributed across several regions including Botswana, the Caprivi Strip, KwaZulu-Natal, Madagascar, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Northern Provinces, Swaziland, Tanzania, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. The species was first described in 1868 by the author Oliv.

Description

Olax dissitiflora is part of the Olacaceae family, a group of flowering plants. It is native to various parts of Africa, with a wide distribution that includes Botswana, the Caprivi Strip, KwaZulu-Natal, Madagascar, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Northern Provinces, Swaziland, Tanzania, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
