Abies firma, known as Japanese fir, is a fir species native to central and southern Japan. It grows at altitudes between 50 and 1200 meters.

Description

Abies firma (Siebold & Zucc.), part of the Pinaceae family, is distributed across Japan, Korea, and parts of North America. It is a tree species that thrives in low to moderate altitude regions. The species was first described in 1842.
