Picea maximowiczii, known as Japanese Bush Spruce, is a conifer in the Pinaceae family. It is native to Japan and found in the Akaishi Mountains, Okuchichibu Mountains, and Yatsugatake Mountains on Honshu. The species was published in 1879.

This species was first described in 1879 and is commonly referred to as Japanese Bush Spruce in English.
