Pityrogramma sulphurea, known as the Jamaican goldback fern, is a species of fern in the Pteridaceae family. It is native to the West Indies, including Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, and the Archipiélago de Cuba, and has been naturalized in Sri Lanka. The species was first described in 1913.

Description

Pityrogramma sulphurea is a fern species found in the Caribbean region and has been introduced to Sri Lanka. It is part of the Pteridaceae family and is known for its yellowish undersides, which contribute to its common name, the Jamaican goldback fern. The species was published in 1913 and is recognized as part of the Pityrogramma genus.
