Description

Jacquemontia bracteosa is a member of the Convolvulaceae family, commonly known as the morning glory family. It was scientifically described in 1869 by the botanist Meisn. The species is found in the northeastern and southeastern regions of Brazil. As part of the genus Jacquemontia, it is one of several species distributed across the Neotropics. Its occurrence is limited to the country of Brazil, where it is documented in these two major biogeographic regions.
