Jack tree

Sinojackia xylocarpa, described by Hu in 1928, belongs to the genus Sinojackia in the family Styracaceae. It is a flowering plant species native to Jiangsu province in eastern China, where it grows at altitudes of 500–800 m. The species is listed as threatened due to habitat loss. Its distribution is limited to this region, despite being published with a global range.
