Ixia latifolia, described by D.Delaroche in 1766, is a perennial flowering plant in the Iridaceae family. It is native to the Western Cape region of South Africa, specifically found in the fynbos biome.

Description

Ixia latifolia is a geophyte species endemic to the Western Cape. It is distributed across the Koue Bokkeveld, along the Tankwa Karoo ridge, and extends to the Klein Swartberg and the southern slopes of the Gamkaberg. This plant is a member of the Iridaceae family and is part of the fynbos vegetation.
