Ixia confusa is a perennial flowering plant and geophyte in the Iridaceae family. It is endemic to the Western Cape region of South Africa, where it is found in the vygieveld biome.

Description

Ixia confusa is a member of the genus Ixia and is native to the Western Cape. It is distributed across the Riviersonderend Mountains, Langeberg, Groot-Swartberg, Outeniqua Mountains, and the southern Cape coast. The species was published in 2012 and is part of the Iridaceae family. It is a geophyte, meaning it has an underground storage organ, and is adapted to the local biome.
