This orchid species is documented in Honduras through the voucher specimen J. B. Edwards 229 (AMES). Its distribution spans multiple regions in Mexico and Central America, indicating a broad presence within the neotropical range. The species is part of the genus Isochilus, which is recognized within the Orchidaceae family.
