Isochilus aurantiacus is a species in the Orchidaceae family, native to Mexico (Chiapas) and extending south into Central America.

Description

This orchid species is found in El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico Southeast, and Nicaragua. It was first described in 1981 by Hamer & Garay. A voucher specimen is documented as C. H. Nelson 4801, housed in the MO and TEFH herbaria.
