This plant is native to several countries in Africa and the Arabian Peninsula, including Botswana, Djibouti, Ethiopia, Kenya, KwaZulu-Natal, Mozambique, Namibia, Northern Provinces, Somalia, Tanzania, Yemen, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
