Lechea intermedia is a species of pinweed in the family Cistaceae, commonly known as intermediate pinweed. It is found in regions across North America, including Vermont, Alberta, Connecticut, Illinois, Iowa, Maine, Manitoba, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Montana, New Brunswick, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Newfoundland, North Dakota, Nova Scotia, Ohio, Ontario, and Pennsylvania.

Description

Lechea intermedia is a member of the Cistaceae family, also known as the rock-roses. It is widely distributed across the northern United States and Canada. The species was first described in 1894 and has several common names, including large-pod pinweed, large-podded pinweed, and round-fruited pinweed. It is part of the genus Lechea, which includes other similar pinweed species.
