Cyperus aggregatus (Willd.) Endl., known as inflated-scale flat sedge, is a sedge species in the Cyperaceae family. It is native to tropical and subtropical regions of the Americas.

Description

Cyperus aggregatus is a sedge found in various regions, including Complejo Humedales Hato Corozal, Parque Nacional Natural Cocuy, Parque Nacional Natural Tinigua, and several departments in South America such as Antioquia, Arauca, and Boyacá. It is also present in Belgium, France, The Netherlands, and Great Britain. This species was first described in 1842 and is part of the Cyperus genus. Its distribution spans the Nearctic and Neotropical regions.
