Lechea racemulosa, known as Illinois pinweed, is a species in the genus Lechea of the Cistaceae family. It was first described by Michx. in 1803.

Description

Lechea racemulosa is a member of the Cistaceae family, commonly referred to as the rockrose family. This species was formally published in 1803 by the botanist Michx. The genus Lechea includes several herbaceous plants, many of which are adapted to dry, sandy soils. Illinois pinweed is native to parts of North America and is characterized by its small, delicate flowers and slender growth habit. It is typically found in open, well-drained habitats.
