Iberis pinnata L., a member of the Brassicaceae family, was first described in 1755. It is native to regions across Europe and the Mediterranean, including Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Great Britain, Austria, Germany, Greece, Italy, Romania, Spain, and others.

Description

Iberis pinnata is a species within the Brassicaceae family, a group of flowering plants commonly known as the mustard family. It is found in various parts of Europe and the Mediterranean, including Belgium, the Walloon Region, France, the Netherlands, Great Britain, SK, Austria, Baleares, Czechoslovakia, Germany, Greece, Italy, Krym, Romania, Sicilia, Spain, Switzerland, and Yugoslavia. The species was first published by Linnaeus in 1755. Although Villarrubia & Moreno (1993) referenced specimens 827.12 and 827.13 from LINN, they did not designate either as the type specimen for Iberis pinnata.
