Description

Hyptidendron arboreum (Benth.) Harley is a member of the Lamiaceae family, commonly known as the mint family. It is distributed across several South American countries, including Bolivia, Brazil (particularly the northern regions), Colombia (in areas such as Sucre, Antioquia, Bolívar, Caldas, Santander, and the Cuenca de Río Claro), Guyana, Peru, and Venezuela (including Manizales). The species was formally described in 1988 and is classified within the genus Hyptidendron.
