Hypselodelphys poggeana (K.Schum.) Milne-Redh. is a member of the Marantaceae family and is distributed across multiple regions in West and Central Africa. It is found in Angola, Cameroon, Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Ghana, Guinea, the Gulf of Guinea Islands, Ivory Coast, Liberia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Togo, Zaïre, Base-Guinée, and Guinée forestière. The species was formally described in 1950.
