Hypenia salzmannii is a species in the genus Hypenia, belonging to the Lamiaceae family. It was published in 1988 and is distributed across Brazil's Northeast, North, and Southeast regions, as well as in Guyana and Venezuela.

Description

Hypenia salzmannii (Benth.) Harley is a member of the Lamiaceae family, commonly known as the mint family. The species is native to several regions in South America, including the Northeast, North, and Southeast of Brazil, as well as Guyana and Venezuela. It was formally described in 1988. The genus Hypenia includes species with characteristics typical of the Lamiaceae family, such as aromatic leaves and bilaterally symmetrical flowers.
