Hyparrhenia involucrata is a grass species in the Poaceae family, native to several countries in West and Central Africa. It was first described by Stapf in 1919.

Description

Hyparrhenia involucrata is a member of the grass family Poaceae and is found in a range of African countries, including Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, the Central African Republic, Chad, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Nigeria, Niger, and Togo. This species was formally described by Stapf in 1919 and is part of the genus Hyparrhenia.
