Hymenophyton flabellatum is a dendroid thalloid liverwort in the family Hymenophytaceae, part of the order Pallaviciniales. It is known as Fan liverwort and is found in New Zealand, Chile, and the wet forests of Australia and Tasmania. The species was first described in 1877.
