Holcoglossum auriculatum

Holcoglossum auriculatum is a member of the Orchidaceae, one of the largest families of flowering plants. It is found in the regions of South-Central China, as well as in Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam. The species was formally described in 2005 by botanists Z.J. Liu, S.C. Chen, and X.H. Jin. It belongs to the genus Holcoglossum, which is part of the diverse orchid family known for its ecological and morphological variety. The species' distribution is limited to the specified regions, where it likely inhabits subtropical or tropical habitats typical of the Orchidaceae.
