Yucca madrensis is a species in the genus Yucca, belonging to the family Asparagaceae. It is native to the Sierra Madre Occidental in the Mexican states of Sonora and Chihuahua, and has also been reported in Arizona. The plant is commonly known as Hoary Yucca.

Description

Yucca madrensis is found in mountainous regions, particularly on steep, rocky slopes within pine-oak forests. Its distribution includes parts of Arizona, as well as the Northeast and Northwest regions of Mexico. The species was first described in 1972 by H. S. Gentry.
