Hippeastrum blossfeldiae

Hippeastrum blossfeldiae belongs to the genus Hippeastrum within the Amaryllidaceae family. This species is geographically restricted to the southeastern and southern regions of Brazil. It was first documented in 1997 by Van Scheepen, building upon the initial taxonomic work conducted by Traub and J.L. Doran. The species is part of a diverse group of flowering plants commonly known for their ornamental value and bulbous growth habit.
