Hieronyma macrocarpa is a species in the family Phyllanthaceae, found in several protected areas and regions across Colombia, as well as in Ecuador and Peru. It was first described in 1865 by Müll.Arg.

Hieronyma macrocarpa belongs to the Phyllanthaceae family and is distributed across various parks and regions in Colombia, including Parque Nacional Natural Tatamá, Parque Nacional Natural Chingaza, and others, as well as in Ecuador and Peru. It was first published in 1865 by Müll.Arg. The species is part of the genus Hieronyma and is native to the Andean and surrounding regions of South America.
