Heterocladium heteropterum is a species in the genus Heterocladium, family Lembophyllaceae. It was first described in 1852 by Schimp. The species is found on several islands in the Azores and Madeira, as well as in parts of Europe including SE, NO, DK, the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Belgium, and the Walloon Region.
Description
Heterocladium heteropterum belongs to the bryophyte family Lembophyllaceae. Its distribution includes a range of islands in the Atlantic, such as Corvo, Faial, Flores, Graciosa, Pico, Santa Maria, São Jorge, São Miguel, and Terceira in the Azores; Desertas, Madeira, Porto Santo, and Selvagens in the Madeira archipelago. It is also present in several European regions, including the southern and northern parts of one country, Denmark, the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Belgium, and the Walloon Region. The species was first published in 1852 by Schimp.
