Heracleum platytaenium is a flowering plant in the carrot family, Apiaceae. It was first described in 1844 by Pierre Edmond Boissier. The species is native to parts of Europe and Asia, with a distribution that includes Denmark, Greece, Sweden, Turkey, and regions of northern Europe.

Description

Heracleum platytaenium is a member of the genus Heracleum, which is part of the Apiaceae family. The species was first documented in 1844 by the Swiss botanist Pierre Edmond Boissier. It is primarily found in central and coastal Anatolia in Turkey, as well as in parts of northern Europe including Denmark, Sweden, and Norway. The plant is also present in Greece.
