Henry's Lime

Tilia henryana Szyszyl. is a species of tree native to several Chinese provinces, including Anhui, Henan, Hubei, Hunan, Jiangsu, Jiangxi, Shaanxi, and Zhejiang. It was introduced to the West by Ernest Wilson in 1901 and named after Augustine Henry, a plantsman and sinologist who collected the type specimen in 1888.
Description
Tilia henryana belongs to the genus Tilia and the family Malvaceae. It is commonly known as Henry's Lime. The species is distributed globally but originates from North-Central, South-Central, and Southeast China. First described in 1890, it is named in honor of Augustine Henry for his contribution to botanical exploration in China.
