Henckelia incana (Vahl) Spreng. is a species in the genus Henckelia, belonging to the family Gesneriaceae. It was first described in 1824 and is native to India.

Description

Henckelia incana is a member of the Gesneriaceae family, commonly known as the gesneriad family. This family includes a variety of flowering plants, many of which are found in tropical and subtropical regions. The species Henckelia incana is part of the genus Henckelia, which comprises several species primarily distributed in the Indian subcontinent. The plant is indigenous to India and was formally published in 1824. Its scientific name was revised by Sprengel, based on the original description by Vahl.
