Description

Heliamphora nutans, described by Benth. in 1840, belongs to the family Sarraceniaceae. It is distributed across northern Brazil, Guyana, and Venezuela. This species is commonly found on the summits of tepuis, which are table-top mountains in the region. The plant is recognized for its distinctive pitcher-shaped leaves that function as insect traps.
