Hedyosmum cumbalense is a tree species in the family Chloranthaceae, native to South America. It is found in several national parks and regions in Colombia, as well as in Ecuador, Peru, and other parts of the Andes.

Description

Hedyosmum cumbalense, described in 1863 by H.Karst., is a tree species belonging to the family Chloranthaceae. It occurs in a range of protected areas and regions across South America, including Parque Nacional Natural Complejo Volcanico Doña Juana - Cascabel, Parque Nacional Natural Puracé, Parque Nacional Natural Chingaza, Parque Nacional Natural Tatamá, and several other localities in Colombia. It is also present in Ecuador, Peru, and other parts of the Andes. This species is part of the genus Hedyosmum and is native to the region.
