Hedera iberica is a species of ivy in the Araliaceae family, native to the western Iberian peninsula and northern Morocco. Previously considered a subspecies of Hedera maderensis as Hedera maderensis iberica, it was later reclassified as a distinct species. It is found growing on slopes, rock surfaces, soil, and tree trunks.

Description

Hedera iberica belongs to the genus Hedera and is part of the Araliaceae family. It is native to Morocco, Portugal, and Spain, where it typically grows on rocky slopes, soil, and tree trunks. The species was formally described in 2002 and was previously classified as a subspecies of Hedera maderensis before being recognized as an independent species.
