Haworthia retusa is a perennial succulent in the family Asphodelaceae, native to a limited region around Riversdale in the Western Cape Province of South Africa. It grows up to 10 cm tall and wide, with thick triangular leaves and small white tubular flowers arranged in 50 cm tall racemes.

Description

Haworthia retusa (L.) Duval is a member of the genus Haworthia within the Asphodelaceae family. It is endemic to a small area near Riversdale in the Western Cape Province. This plant reaches a height and width of approximately 10 cm and is characterized by its thick, triangular leaves. Its flowering structure consists of small white tubular flowers arranged in tall racemes that can extend up to 50 cm in height. The species was first described in 1809.
