Protea scolopendriifolia, known as the Harts-tongue-fern Sugarbush, is a flowering shrub native to South Africa. It is found in the Western and Eastern Cape regions, including the Cederberg, Kogelberg, Riviersonderend Mountains, Swartberg, and Kouga Mountains. The species blooms during spring, from September to December.

Description

Protea scolopendriifolia belongs to the Proteaceae family and is part of the Protea genus. It is endemic to the Cape Provinces of South Africa and is known by the common name Harts-tongue-fern Sugarbush. The species was first described in 1974. It is a shrub that is adapted to the local environment and plays a role in the regional flora.
