Harperocallis flava, or Harper's beauty, is a species native to Florida, USA, primarily found in the Apalachicola National Forest. It has been listed as an endangered species in the United States since 1979.

Description

Harperocallis flava, commonly called Harper's beauty, is a plant species belonging to the Tofieldiaceae family. It is endemic to Florida, with its known occurrences concentrated in the Panhandle region, particularly within the Apalachicola National Forest. The species was formally described in 1968 by McDaniel. Due to its limited distribution and habitat degradation, it is classified as seriously endangered and has been on the U.S. endangered species list since 1979.
