Halothamnus hierochunticus

Halothamnus hierochunticus is a plant species found in parts of Southwest Asia. It is a member of the Amaranthaceae family and belongs to the subfamily Salsoloideae. The species is distributed across several countries, including Iran, Iraq, Lebanon-Syria, Palestine, and Turkey. It is sometimes regarded as a weed in its native range. The scientific name Halothamnus hierochunticus was published in 1981 and is attributed to (Bornm.) Botsch.
