Description

Persicaria arifolia (L.) Haraldson is a flowering plant in the buckwheat family, Polygonaceae. It is commonly referred to as Halberd-Leaved Tear-Thumb and is distributed across regions including New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Quebec, Vermont-US, and other areas in the United States. This species prefers moist environments and is often found near water sources such as ponds, rivers, and marshes. It was first published in 1978.
