Hakea horrida is a shrub in the Proteaceae family, native to the Wheatbelt, Great Southern, and Goldfields–Esperance regions of Western Australia. It was published in 1990 by C.Gardner ex R.M.Barker.

Description

This species is a small, dense shrub known for its extremely prickly foliage and large, creamy white, scented flowers. It is endemic to specific regions in Western Australia and is part of the Proteaceae family, which is commonly referred to as the Protea family in English.
