Haemanthus montanus is a perennial flowering plant in the Amaryllidaceae family, native to regions in southern Africa including Botswana, the Cape Provinces, Free State, KwaZulu-Natal, and Northern Provinces. It was first described by Baker in 1896.

Description

Haemanthus montanus is a geophyte species within the genus Haemanthus. It is found in several South African provinces such as Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal, Mpumalanga, North West, and the Eastern Cape, as well as in Botswana. The plant is part of the Amaryllidaceae family and was scientifically published in 1896.
