Description
This species is typically found on coastal flats and extends eastward onto the stony, lower slopes of the first terrace. It prefers heavy soils and is often located in the shade of low succulent shrubs. Haemanthus crispus belongs to the Amaryllidaceae family and was described by Snijman in 1981.
