Gyrostemon subnudus is a species in the family Gyrostemonaceae. It was originally described as Amperea subnuda in 1848 by Nees von Esenbeck and later reclassified into the genus Gyrostemon in 1873 by Henri Ernest Baillon. The species was formally published in 1904 by Diels.
Description
Gyrostemon subnudus belongs to the genus Gyrostemon within the family Gyrostemonaceae. Initially named Amperea subnuda by Nees von Esenbeck in 1848, it was moved to the genus Gyrostemon by Baillon in 1873. The current scientific name was established in 1904 by Diels.
