Guapira noxia (Netto) Lundell is a species in the genus Guapira, belonging to the botanical family Nyctaginaceae. It was first described in 1968 and is native to several regions in South America.

Description

Guapira noxia is distributed across Brazil in the Northeast, Southeast, and West-Central regions, as well as in Bolivia, Paraguay, and Peru. As a member of the Nyctaginaceae family, it shares characteristics with other plants in this group, which is commonly known as the four o'clock family. The species is part of the genus Guapira, which includes several other related species found in the Neotropics.
