Dryadodaphne trachyphloia, known as Grey Sassafras, is a plant species in the Atherospermataceae family. It is found only in the Wet Tropics bioregion of Queensland, Australia, specifically in rainforest habitats around Mount Lewis and Mount Spurgeon, at elevations between 400 and 1,400 meters.

Description

This species is endemic to a limited area in the rainforests of the Wet Tropics region, northwest of Cairns. It is part of the genus Dryadodaphne and was described by Schodde in 2007. The plant is adapted to the specific ecological conditions of its high-altitude rainforest habitat.
