Colubrina arborescens, known as Greenheart, is a species in the Rhamnaceae family. It was first described in 1911 and is native to regions across the Americas, including the Bahamas, Belize, Cayman Islands, Colombia, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Florida, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Leeward Islands, and parts of Mexico.

Description

Colubrina arborescens is a member of the Rhamnaceae family and is commonly referred to as Greenheart. Its distribution spans multiple regions, including Caldas, Chocó, Valle in South America, as well as the Caribbean and parts of the United States. This species is found in the Bahamas, Belize, Cayman Islands, Colombia, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Florida, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Leeward Islands, and various regions of Mexico such as the Gulf, Northeast, Southeast, and Southwest. The species was formally published in 1911.
