Tiquilia nesiotica (J.T.Howell) A.T.Richardson, known as gray matplant, is a plant species in the family Ehretiaceae. It is native to the Galápagos Islands.

Description

Tiquilia nesiotica is a member of the genus Tiquilia within the family Ehretiaceae. This species is endemic to the Galápagos Islands, where it grows as part of the local flora. It was first described and published in 1976. The plant is commonly referred to as gray matplant in English. Its distribution is limited to the Galápagos, although the genus Tiquilia is found more broadly in regions such as Peru.
