Angelonia salicariifolia, known as Granny's bonnet, is a flowering plant in the family Plantaginaceae. It is native to regions including Bolivia, Brazil, and northeast Argentina, with a broader distribution across parts of Central and South America, the Caribbean, and other tropical areas.

Description

Angelonia salicariifolia is a species in the genus Angelonia, part of the Plantaginaceae family. It is found in regions such as Antioquia, Arauca, Boyacá, Casanare, Chocó, Cundinamarca, Huila, Tolima, and Valle in South America, as well as in Brazil, Argentina, Cuba, and other tropical locations. The species was first described in 1812 by Bonpl. and is commonly referred to as Granny's bonnet in English.
