Glaucium vitellinum

Glaucium vitellinum is a member of the Papaveraceae family, commonly known as the poppy family. This species is part of the genus Glaucium, which includes flowering plants typically found in temperate regions. The species was scientifically described in 1860 by the botanists Boiss. & Buhse. It is naturally distributed in Iran, where it grows in its native habitat. The genus Glaucium is characterized by herbaceous plants with showy flowers and is often associated with arid to semi-arid environments.
