Description

Gastrochilus acaulis (Lindl.) Kuntze is a member of the Orchidaceae family, commonly known as the orchid family. This species is found in the regions of India and Sri Lanka. The genus Gastrochilus includes a group of epiphytic orchids typically characterized by their small, delicate flowers and slender growth forms. The scientific name was published in 1891.
